Morris Broadband Honors Hendersonville Scholarship Recipients

These recipients and their parents joined Morris Broadband representatives for lunch at Kelsey’s, a local Hendersonville restaurant.  Following the luncheon, the recipients’ names were entered into a random drawing for a new computer donated by Morris Broadband.  Jessica Allison was the lucky winner of the fully loaded laptop computer. The remaining graduates were presented with iPods also donated by Morris Broadband.

Morris Broadband began its scholarship program to reaffirm the company’s commitment to the educational needs of the communities it serves. “Through the Morris Broadband Scholarship program our company hopes to help open doors for talented and deserving students,” said Mike Kai, Director of Sales & Marketing. The program echoes the importance Morris Broadband places on preparing young adults for the future.  The award is based upon the applicant’s scholastic record, local community involvement, leadership qualities, and financial need.
